Publication Ethics

JASPI upholds principles of research integrity, ensuring avoidance of scientific misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, redundant publication, and authorship disputes.

We adhere to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, as articulated by COPE, DOAJ, WAME, and OASPA (https://doaj.org/bestpractice).

To maintain the highest publishing standards, JASPI prohibits and addresses the following infractions:

  • Plagiarism in manuscripts and articles
  • Fabricated or falsified data in manuscripts and articles
  • Submission of manuscripts under concurrent consideration or already published elsewhere
  • Manipulated citations in manuscripts and articles

 All submitted manuscripts undergo thorough plagiarism checks using the Ithenticate service (https://app.ithenticate.com/en_us/login/login). Istances of scientific misconduct are addressed in accordance with international standards and guidelines provided by COPE, CIOMS, WAME, and the Council of Science Editors.

Suspected cases of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, are investigated seriously. If confirmed, appropriate actions are taken based on the severity of the offense.

Editorial and Reviewer Guidelines

Editors and reviewers are expected to maintain impartiality and professionalism throughout the review process. They adhere strictly to ethical standards regarding confidentiality, conflict of interest disclosure, and handling of unpublished data.

Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure manuscripts adhere to the multidisciplinary themes of Medical Sciences, with accurate data presentation and appropriate citation according to Vancouver style. They are obligated to disclose conflicts of interest and obtain informed consent for studies involving human subjects or animals.

Ethical Reporting

JASPI maintains a rigorous process for handling allegations of research misconduct. Allegations are investigated thoroughly with due respect for the privacy and confidentiality of all parties involved.
